Today, I just feel icky...the household has been sick and now I think that I have caught it. Yuck! I did one of those steam things but I am out of Eucalyptus darn it I'm not really thinking very well either. :( I don't know I just don't like being sick, I'm sure that everyone else feels the same way lol But while I was laying here in bed today, I thought hmmm why don't I start making homemade bath products etc?? So I'll get some stuff together and try it out. Actually I am really excited about it. Sometimes things just come to me and I know they are right.  So I'll do it I can't wait :D

It was so beautiful, heavy white snowflakes falling all around me. I love the winter, the frozen toes that I get from standing outside, my breath leaving a little white puff of moisture in the air as I talk. Monday night it snowed enough that school was canceled and I actually got to sleep in a little. The kids enjoyed staying home and playing with the dogs in the yard. I went and got my errands done, I stayed in my little town though, the roads were icy and slick. I drove in and parked on main, then walked everywhere I had to go. One of my friends met me at the hardware store and folllowed me about town. Lol, he's a goofball, but such a nice guy. We stood outside talking for about 45 minutes and my toes were freezong and wet, so I had to get out of there and I came back home. Oh and as always, it sounds like I need to replace the starter on the old truck. It's always this way and old Betsy usually likes a foot of snow on the ground before I have to replace the starter or ice, she ain't picky she just doesn't want me to be warm or dry for that matter.

I can hardly wait for more snow though. :)

Lately I am having the most difficult time focusing. I have neglected my studies and my housework. Argghh I really don't like it when i get this way. Usually, I can locate the reason for my inability to stay on one thing at a time but this time...I just can't put my finger on it. Is it too much work, not enough play, i just don't know...I can count on one hand how many times I have been able to focus long enough to use my tarot cards correctly...but I can't count how many times I have wanted to consult them and been unable to even phrase my question in a reasonable manner. I think I may need to meditate more and maybe a lot more communing with nature. That might help. Some time to be within myself. mmmm i think that just might work.

I was made aware of this by a friend of mine on another venue...I have found it very alarming, as all cases of pedophilia strike me. I just wanted to get the word out. We Must Fight Ritual Pedophilia in our Community!

This blog is about a major issue that has surfaced within the Wiccan community that has drawn very deep lines in the sand between those on either side of the issue. Some people I admire have found themselves on the other side of that line. I wish them no ill, no harm, only an awakening as to the real issue at hand.

Wow.. well let me tell you, the International Real Witches Ball this year was really emotional, controversial, and very enlightening. I have to say I had been out of touch with the issues in the community since the successful conclusion of the Veteran's Pentacle Quest earlier this year.

I have read a lot of Wiccan authors in the past few years, and for some reason, the books of Gavin and Yvonne Frost just never appealed to me, so I never bought them or read them. I had no idea what they contained. So when all this controversy came to light, I was so to speak, totally in the dark.

PLEASE NOTE: The Witches Bible mentioned below IS NOT the same as the one written by Janet and Stewart Farrar. The book mentioned below is a completely different book written by Gavin and Yvonne Frost!

The Frost's original book was called The Witches Bible, and then it was re-published in 1972 as A Good Witches Bible, (ref. below as TGWB) then and as it is currently available, contains specific instructions of the "ritual deflowering of adolescents". Given an average age of 15, this could also pertain to children as young as 9 or 10. A few excerpts below:

I WARN YOU, SOME OF THIS IS VERY EXPLICIT AND MAY BE VERY DISTURBING. I KNOW IT WAS FOR ME.

Items in italic and underlined are the comments of AJ Drew of PaganNation.com. All other entries are direct excerpts from the Frosts book. I have refrained from prefacing this with my own comments, as I want you to draw your own conclusions.

(TGWB) Chapter IV
"When a child develops to a stage where the physical attributes of reproduction are present, he can become a full member of the coven."

"The parents relinquish the spiritual guidance of the children to the coven, and warn them that temporal authority will also soon be outside the family. "

Note that according to this statement, it seems what follows would have been led by Gavin and Yvonne Frost as the Heads of their Coven...AJD

(TGWB) "It is hoped by Wicca that the first full sexual experience will take place in the pleasant[SIC] surroundings of the coven and that the spiritual as well as the physical aspects of the experience will lead the child to a complete life. "

"The physical attributes of male and female virginity are destroyed at the youngest possible age, either by the mother or by a doctor. In the female case, the hymen is painlessly broken surgically. In the male case, the mother makes absolutely sure that the foreskin can be drawn fully back by cutting the underside attachment membrane."

"At the last sabbat or esbat before the initiation, the female novice is given the sacred phallus and the instruction sheet in Table 5 so that she can learn to insert and remove the phallus quickly and comfortably. She is also taught how she should lie and what she should do during the initiation ceremony. "

Note: There are two phalluses. One large, one small. There are instructions for making them using wood dowels, nylon cord, and wax. The object of this exercise appears to be to stretch the virgin vagina to make it ready for coitus. Remember, as we discussed earlier we might be speaking about a 10 year old girl...AJD

Table Five contains the following instructions
(TGWB) "You have been entrusted with two phali[SIC]; these are in your care until your initiation. We would like you to be initiated at the next coven meeting, which will take place on .... This means that, excluding your menstruation time, you have three weeks to prepare your muscles for introitus. Your father or your sponsor will help you if you have any difficulties or pain. You may have to delay your initiation, but there is plenty of time and no need to hurry. These are important development phases. Relax and take your time. You have no hymen; there is no restriction except the vaginal muscles."

Note: As I understand this, a 10 year old girls father should help her with the home made phalli? In the state of Ohio, this is rape. In any state, this is obscene...AJD

(TGWB) "After your evening discussion and meditation, and before you go to bed, take the smaller phallus and smear it with lubricating jelly. Either lie on your back with your knees up and legs slightly apart, or stand up and bend your knees. Spread the lips of the vagina and gently insert the phallus. Remember it must point toward the back, not up inside you. Push the phallus in until the vaginal entrance muscles close around the core. Wear it and the larger phallus in accordance with the following table, except during menstruation."

Note: The table provides the time and schedule to use the two devices of differing sizes...AJD

(TGWB) "The final three days before the initiation are a time of fasting. "

Note: The importance of fasting will become evident later...AJD

(TGWB) "Throughout the fast the novices are given a demonstration of introitus by a couple selected by the coven. "

Note: As I understand this passage, this states that a live sex show should be given to children as early as the age of 10 years of age...AJD

(TGWB) "The novice makes her own decision on contraception or lack of it."

Note: As I understand this statement, children the age of 10 years old should make decisions on the use or lack of use of birth control prior to having sex...AJD

(TGWB) "The flamenca gives the novice a full glass of mead."

Note: While I am not a doctor, I believe the result of having a child or most adults fast for three days and then drink a "full glass" of a high carbohydrate alcoholic beverage would be near instant intoxication...AJD

(TGWB) "Bring back the fruits of your sponsor's body"

Note: Although the instruction is not specifically to go have sex, with the wording of the preparation, this instruction is not hidden at this point. So at this point, we might be speaking of a 10 year old girl, removed from her parents care, raped by her father with a series of home made dildos, fasting for three days, intoxicated on mead, and told to go have sex with her sponsor. In the case of a male child, skip the dildo and include genital surgery...AJD

(TGWB) "Does the novice now understand the meaning of life?"

"Do you still wish to be a member of this coven?"

"Do you have the fruits of your body (sponsors body)?"

"I will use my sex for good;"

"She symbolically whips him with his own whip. He kisses her foot, she helps him to rise. He points to his ankh (symbol of the God's authority) at her. She falls to the ground. He symbolically whips her. She kisses his foot; he helps her to rise. "

"The symbology [SIC] of the meek overcoming the strong and the godhead overcoming all, even the flamenca, is easy to understand, but has been the cause of many attacks by the establishment, who freely change "foot" to "backside".
In the edition published in 1999 (sometimes called the 2000 edition), there is a disclaimer to chapter 4 which states that "formal" initiations should not take place into a coven which practices the great rite until someone is 18. An explanation is given which states that fathers are being sued for giving their children's baths. However, another chapter rather clearly makes that disclaimer to chapter 4 seem insincere at best:...AJD

(TGWB) Chapter VII - Perils and Precautions - All quotes and page numbers are from the 1972 edition of The Witches Bible.

"At the end of this chapter you will find an additional section covering the problems you may encounter with the local temporal and civil authorities. Precautions and cures for these ills do not fall within the scope of the present book, but on your getting a good lawyer".

Section title "Temporal Authorities and Law" - page 181 at the end of the chapter VII.

"First and foremost, check your local laws so that if you have to bend or break any of them, at least you'll know the risks you run. The following should be checked."

"Carnal Knowledge"

The daughter of a local Wiccan couple wishes to join the coven. She is sixteen. May she join? The answer in most states is that when she is a member, all of the men of the coven could be jailed; no amount of formal releases properly signed will help. So if she wishes to join, all the male members of the coven must sign an agreement absolving the other members from responsibility."

Page 189 - Forming and Running a Coven

Speaking about things that potential coven members must be told prior to joining, the Frosts list:
"Their bodies will be used in ceremonies that
a. sap the vital power,
b. are dangerous,
c. require sex with assigned partners.

Chapter IV

To me, it is evident that something needs to be done. What the Frosts have written, whether they practice it actively or not in their Church of Wicca, is enough to indict them at least, for the crime of promoting pedophilia. Don't we already have enough perverts in this country sexually abusing our children. As a Wiccan community do we really need our leaders to promote what is nothing more than incest and pedophilia? Whatever the Frosts try to say in their defense of the published material, there is no way that their own written words are just an historical accounting of ancient practices. Nothing is written in past tense. It is all written as explicit instructions for the ritual incestual rape and group molestation of children. Even if it was their supposed intention to present ancient customs, they should have advised their audience that these were the practices of a defunct civilization, from a time when women and children were not held in esteem by their families or their community, as they are in modern times. Even in the 70's when my children were small, these practices would have been deemed criminal.

AJ and Aimee Drew have spoken out, and have taken a huge backlash for their efforts in trying to secure the safety of his children and all of ours. The Pagan community has turned their backs on them for the largest part. The only problem I have with all of this is that the focus and honorable intent of the message is being lost in all the bickering, harmful magick, name calling and non-productive rhetoric that is being plastered all over the internet. I fully support AJ in his cause, although, I have to back away from some of his methods in bringing this to the attention of the Wiccan community. He warned me the other day when I told him that I would start blogging in support of this issue, that I run the risk of having the entire Wiccan/Pagan community turn against me too. It would not be the first time in my life that people have turned against me. Other people have been "warned" and "threatened" about speaking out against the Frosts or the Church of Wicca. As far as the threats that have been delivered to others who have stood up in support of AJ, I have to say to all the "would be" attackers of me, there is no harm you can do to me that I have not already done to myself in one way or the other. All I have to say is, if that is the only way you feel you can win this issue, then you really are very sick people.

My hope is that our community will look at this for what it IS. Stop hiding behind "live and let live" philosophies that are no longer relevant in today's beliefs. We have to stand up, against the world if need be, to protect the only precious resource we have left in this world .. our children, our families.

I have pride in being Wiccan, in being a Witch, I am not ready to denounce the religion or of being a witch. Too many people died in the name of Witchcraft to deny their honor because of an immoral and perverted practice by people within our community. But I want the world to know that these people, and their perverted rituals, and their supposed "church" of Wicca, have nothing at all to do with the Wicca of my religion, or my practice of Witchcraft. This is not my practice or the practice of any Wiccan group that I have ever been in contact with. We don't practice pedophilia or support it in any way shape or form.

I will post more about this as I gather my thoughts and emotions into something resembling clarity. Right now, my senses are too raw, and my emotions are at a boiling point, and I don't want to become part of the problem with runaway diatribe.

I have learned that there is a potentially dangerous group of individuals who are touting themselves as a religious organization doing business under the name of "The Church and School of Wicca," located at 301 Temple Street, Hinton, West Virginia. The Church and School of Wicca is an organization which has attained tax exempt status from the federal government. The co-founders of this group are Gavin and Yvonne Frost, authors of a book called The Good Witches' Bible wherein the ritual molestation and violation of children, perhaps as young as the age of ten, is allegedly encouraged and supported through explicit instructional details provided in the book.

I am appealing to you, as _______________(insert name/position/office) to, at the very least, review Mr. Drew's blog and ascertain for yourself whether these allegations merit investigation into The Church and School of Wicca as well as Gavin and Yvonne Frost as the founders of The Church and authors of the instructional details concerning the ritualistic molestation of young individuals.

I appeal to you on behalf of every child who has survived incest, molestation, dehumanization, demoralization, and victimization at the hands of someone in a position of authority to do what is right and just. I appeal to you as a human being, a contributing member of society, to restore a sense of safety and well being to all of those who have potentially been wronged by these individuals. Please bring this matter to light in order that a proper investigation may be conducted and either exonerate these individuals or prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law.
